Staying true to their style, CSK avoided extravagant spending, with no player crossing the ₹10 crore mark in the auction except for two marquee signings, Ravichandran Ashwin and Noor Ahmad, who were acquired for a combined ₹19.75 crore. These signings solidify their spin department, which already boasts the formidable Ravindra Jadeja.
True to form, CSK brought back several familiar faces who couldn’t be retained due to the IPL’s retention cap of six players.
