The inaugural season of the Kerala Super League, organized by the Kerala Football Association, kicked off on September 7, where Malappuram FC started strong by defeating Fora Kochi 2-0 in the opening match. A total of six teams are competing in the tournament, including Malappuram FC, Fora Kochi, Kannur Warriors, Calicut FC, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans, and Thrissur Magic.
The league runs from September 7 to November 10, with matches scheduled to take place at four different venues across Kerala, aiming to further elevate the state’s football culture.
